Pathways Mission Weekend 6 to 8th September 2018

The Mission is a Diocese of Newcastle wide initiative. Here at Holy Saviours we are hosting a ‘Desert Island Discs’ evening with the Bishop of Manchester David Walker, on Saturday 8th September at 7.30pm. Please put a note in your diary to come along. There is information (leaflets and booklets) about the Pathways Mission at the back of Church and invitations for neighbours and friends to attend our evening as well.

Accommodation request. There are 9 members of the Mission team visiting the Deanery and supporting our event. It is hoped that some of our parishioners at Holy Saviours will be willing and able to "host" one or more of the 9 members of the team for the mission weekend. They would require accommodation from the Thursday 6th to the Saturday night (8th). All they would need is a room to stay in and the host would feed them breakfast each morning. If you are able to offer such support and accommodation, please sign the sheet at the back of Church. For more details contact or Stuart Crozier in the Parish office.

The Mission ends on Sunday 9th September with the Celebrating Hope services. These will be an opportunity to invite people who are interested in finding out more about Christianity to hear interesting stories and talks which present the gospel in a relevant way. There are no tickets required as everyone and anyone can attend.

There will be three Celebrating Hope services from 4pm to 5pm:
at St Michael’s Alnwick, NE66 1LY
at Hexham Mart Conference Suite, NE46 3SG
at Brandling House Entrance, Newcastle Racecourse, NE3 5HP

Parking will be available at Hexham and Newcastle Racecourses.
