Job Title:              Parish Administrator

Location:              Holy Saviour’s Church, Tynemouth

Contract:             Permanent, part time 5 mornings per week (Monday to Friday)

Hours:                   20 hours per week

Salary:                   £10.10 per hour plus 10% employer’s pension contribution

The Parochial Church Council of Holy Saviour’s Church, Tynemouth is seeking to appoint a Parish Administrator to replace the present post holder who has retired after 17 years of dedicated service to the church in Tynemouth.

The successful candidate will be a highly organised and enthusiastic individual who is self-motivated and enjoys working in a quiet office environment.  The role will include the maintenance of all church records, organising meetings, managing the bookings of the church, Parish Hall and Parish Centre, liaising with parishioners, public, suppliers, contractors, stakeholders etc. associated with the effective and efficient running of a busy parish church community.  The successful candidate will also be expected to take on the role of the Safeguarding Officer for Holy Saviour’s Church.
